Money Tips for Kids



Room 5 had a lot of fun learning how to be Moneywise with Tom and Abs, accountants from Price Waterhouse.

They also then did an hour with the ASB people about Financial Literacy.

Room 5 learned so much about how to be smart with their money that they thought it would be a good idea to make a movie and share their ideas with other kids and

VOILA!

Room 5's movie was made called Money Tips for Kids!

    Being moneywise is a new way of being safe with your money. I have learned a lot about being moneywise. I know I've wanted to spend my savings money but I need to save for the things I want. My question is have you ever wanted to spend your savings money? Keep up the amazing work!

    It’s Lusia Here from School! I loved your Movie guys, I think it’s very detailed and creative, Learning about money wise and ways to be money wise is such a good start of growing up! I like your lovely costumes also! Anyways, maybe next time can you guys speak clearly and get a better auto mic for speaking, but everything else is GREAT!!

      Thank you for your lovely feedback, Lusia.

      Unfortunately, the birds were really loud the day that we filmed. We tried to get away from the wind that was making a noise across the microphone and got birds instead.

      Maybe you can show us next time how to do it better.

    I really liked how you used special effects for transporting to and fro, it was very creative. I think the money jars were a very helpful tip for kids and I'm sure I would use it.
