Our Lenten Promises

Room 5 have been working on their Lenten promises for Lent and created posters to show their sacrifices and promises to do a Kind Act each day of Lent. They have been blogging their Kind Acts each day.

    I like all the promises that you guys have said. I hope you have did it, Yes Jesus has died for us so we have to give up something because, Jesus didn't eat anything when he was on the desert for 40 days.

    I like how you want to give up on watching slime, for me if I was to give up on YouTube I would fail hard. But you guys got alright plans for this lent so keep up the good work.

    I really like these creative lent promises you've promised. I can really relate to Sefopalu's promise because I always play on a device and eat junk as well as him. Keep up the good work!!

    These are great lent promises,giving up lollies,fizzy drinks,youtube and other more are pretty hard to give up but your guys ones are pretty easy to do.Keep up the great work. :)

    Hi my name is Toa. Im from Gisborne Wainui Beach School. I LOVE your lent promises that you guys are keeping. It must be really hard that you guys are giving up your fav things like lollies and ps3/xbox. Hope to see more awesomeness in the future. =)

  10. Hello my name is Giacomo, I go to Wainui Beach School and live in Gisborne. and I like Sefopalu's slide because all of these things seem really hard to give these up. I would probably have a hard time doing these things. I have an xbox one but not a ps3. I think it's cool you are doing this for lent.

    I liked your slides, since some of them were hard to give up. I'm impressed that you gave up that rice stuff that sounded quite nice. I like that you gave up something different than lollies. I have never done lent before but I would give up butter chicken.
