Mothers Day Art - Wind of Love

Room 5 created beautiful Mothers Day Cards for Mothers Day.

We did the art work first and then they wrote beautiful letters to their mothers/caregivers to thank them, to say what they loved about them and what they wished for them.

  1. Hey Room 5,
I would like to say that this Mother's Day card is amazing. Your Mother's would like this mother's day card. This photo of your guys blowing a kiss to your mother is lovely. How do you guys make that, I wish one day our class room could do that.

I like your creations you have designed for your mums. They are so creative I like how you are blowing hearts to your mum. Maybe my class will get a chance to make one of these.

Your class is so creative. You all had different patterns and different colours. I would love to ask my teacher if we could do this next Mother Day.

  10. Kia Ora Room 5, I am a year six from greymain school. These artworks are amazing! How long did it take you to do these? My favouite part about the paintings are how the main part of it is you! Maybe next time you could color in the background so it grabs more attention. Cant wait to see more artworks!

    1. Kia Ora Will,

Thank you for your well written comment!

The colour of the background was done with light water colours so that the hearts and the photos stood out.

It took me, the teacher longer because I had to take all the photos and then change the colours and print them before we could start the art.

Watch this space for our Geometric skylines!

    1. Thank you Malachi,
Room 5 had a lot of fun creating their cards and wrote beautiful letters inside as well.
The parents loved them so much I had to take photos as they wanted to keep them and we couldn't put them on our walls.
